Аннотация
Рассматривается вопрос об уникальных феномных и геномных характеристиках человека. Представлены схемы, иллюстрирующие филогенетическую систематику гоминид и положение человека в таксономической иерархии царства животных. Обсуждаются эволюционные и генетические механизмы, сформировавшие людей современного типа. При этом особое внимание уделяется неотении и самодоместикации людей. Проанализированы материалы сравнительной геномики, свидетельствующие об уникальности структурных и функциональных особенностей человеческих геномов. Обрисованы перспективы развития предсказанной К. Марксом единой науки о человеке.
