Abstract
This is the first Russian translation of an article by a prominent Spanish poet, prose writer, anti-fascist and Catholic thinker, whose name is virtually unknown to contemporary Russian audience. The phenomenon of Devil, Daemon, Satan is analyzed as well as its manifestations in science, religion, philosophy, morals, painting.
