Abstract
The specificity of “life-creation” by the great Russian scientist V.I. Vernadskiy is considered. An inextricable link between his innovative scientific ideas on the one hand and his life experience, on the other is demonstrated as well as the role of his personal experience in noosphere doctrine formation. His views on the role of the rational and the irrational, of the intuition, sensuality and religious experience in scientific cognition are analyzed.
