Abstract
The essence of human culture as a process and the result of the spiritual self-production of man and society are described. The description of the image as a "spiritual focus" of culture and a kind of "anthropological project" is provided as well. Individual's self-identification with this a project contributes to his/her human self-realization. The lack of demand for classical images as well as their deformation largely caused the deep transformation of cultural anthropological type, the changes in national and cultural ethos and the European mentality.
