Abstract
The ways of changes in Japanese culture and mentality and influence of Chinese civilization throughout history are considered as well as this influence aftermath. How is it possible to return to the individual his/her selfidentity lost, and to return to the Nation its wholeness? What is the possible role of the artist in this return?
